front cover font

This is the title that i have made for my front cover. I have downloaded this font from dafont.com and have edited it, i have changed the colour and have added a black border round the font. I have also played around with the fx setting and added drop shadows to it. 

Article intro

Do you love alcohol? Do you love house parties? Are you an underage drinker?

Well let me tell you…did you know that people start drinking from the age of 12!...yes really.

Yeah, we’ve all experienced the taste of alcohol or seen our friends laid out across the floor in someone’s house, but alcohol is deadly SERIOUS! Teenagers are getting more and more addicted to drinking, Underage drinking is on the up. A worrying amount of 16 year olds do drink alcohol which is not allowed and 80% of that age group admitted they frequently drank on a regular basis they seem to think that it improves their social life, as they get to meet people from other tribes. Approximately 10 percent of 12-year-olds say they have drank alcohol at least once. By age 13 that number doubles. And by age 15, approximately 50 percent have had at least one drink, and it would seem the main influences are house parties, youth tribes and TV. 

First, second and third person paragraphs

First and second person

You should not drink as a teenager as it can lead to horrible things in the future such as cancer and heart problems. Under age drinking is illegal and you should not drink until you are 18! If you are underage and have an addiction to alcohol then you can get support from your family and friends. You can also get treatment for alcohol if you find that support does not work. 

Third person

The media has a tendency to portray 16-24 year olds as booze monsters and they drink everything in sight. There is a tribe called ‘Alcopopular’, and yes if you haven’t guessed by the name they drink a lot of alcohol! Once they’re on their night out there’s no stopping them. Drinking shots for them is described as a ritual, all about bonding with your friends. Not thinking about what you're doing can lead to tragic consequences. Most places now offer cheap drinks and shots of the foulest looking vodka you will ever drink for as little as £2.50!
