DPS

This is the double page spread that i have produced. I have not uploaded loads of photos for this as i have changed the whole thing 1 day before the deadline. I have took the layout from Vogue magazine. I have used drop caps and quotes to make it look more professional. I have also used lines to replicate the magazine i was copying off.

This week i have changed the fonts and changed the colour of some of them.

I have changed the front cover from the last time i have edited it. I have edited the bottle to make it brighter as it is meant to be the main focus. I have also edited the main sell line. This is because it needed to stand out more so i have added squared boxes and coloured them in red so they would grab more attention. I have also added more sell lines and made the different sizes and some of them more bold than others i have done this so there is more variety. Also i have moved the mast head to the side of the magazine rather than have it in the middle because you could not see the models head properly so i moved it over so you could see it more clearly.

This is the front cover that i have done so far. First, I have set up photoshop with the correct measurements from a chosen magazine I have then placed the photo onto photoshop and edited it with the spot healing tool.  I have then downloaded two fonts from dafont.com and used them on here. I have also changed the colour of the fonts and rotated them.

These are some of the photos i have taken for my DPS, i have taken these as it looks like a party theme which links to part of my article of house parties. I am going to edit these photos and put them together so there looks like there is more than one person in the photo.

Photos for front cover

I have chosen this photo for my front cover because this is the one i thought came out the best. I have a black background to show that alcohol is dangerous, and black has connotations of being evil or can be related to death. The alcohol bottle is far away from the model to show that he is innocent and not involved in drinking. I have done a long shot of the model so you can see his body language.

I also tried having my model facing the camera with his hands over his eyes but i thought it looked better facing away so it looked like the model was less involved with alcohol.
